Job Summary
The Nurse - Child Care will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of children at the centre. The role involves providing first aid, monitoring children's health, maintaining medical records, and supporting staff in maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Health & Safety
- Provide first aid and basic medical care to children in case of minor injuries or illness.
- Monitor children for signs of illness and inform parents and management when required.
- Ensure proper health and hygiene practices are followed in the centre.
2. Medical Records
- Maintain medical records of children , including allergies, medication details, and emergency contacts.
- Keep track of vaccination records (if applicable).
3. Medication Administration
- Administer medication to children only as per parental instructions and medical prescriptions .
- Maintain records of medicines administered.
4. Hygiene & Infection Control
- Ensure classrooms and play areas follow proper sanitation and hygiene standards .
- Guide staff on infection control practices and cleanliness protocols.
5. Emergency Preparedness
- Be prepared to handle medical emergencies and coordinate with parents or nearby hospitals if required.
- Maintain a fully stocked first aid kit at all times.
6. Parent Communication
- Communicate with parents regarding health concerns, injuries, or medical updates of their child.
7. Staff Support
- Educate staff on basic first aid and child health awareness .
- Support teachers during health-related situations.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
