The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for efficiently managing inventory operations, ensuring stock accuracy, minimizing losses, and maintaining smooth material flow. The role involves coordinating with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to optimize inventory control and streamline supply chain operations.

A. Responsibilities & Authorities1. Inventory Management

- Maintain optimal stock levels to meet operational needs without overstocking.
- Monitor stock movement, ensuring timely replenishment and reducing excess inventory.
- Conduct regular stock verification and cycle counting.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and labeling of building materials.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses, damages, and pilferage.
- Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) principles are followed as per material requirements.

1. Procurement & Supplier Coordination

- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
- Review purchase orders and liaise with suppliers for deliveries and discrepancies.
- Verify quality and quantity of received materials against purchase orders.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and negotiation for cost-effective sourcing.

- Warehouse & Logistics Management





- Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and optimize storage layouts.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in warehouse operations.
- Coordinate logistics for smooth material dispatch and transportation.

B. Record Management

- Maintain accurate stock records in inventory management systems (SAP, Tally, or Zoho Inventory).
- Track and update inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and transfers.
- Reconcile physical stock with system records to identify discrepancies.
- Generate inventory reports for management review, including stock aging and consumption trends.

C. General Management

- Supervise and train inventory and warehouse staff.
- Implement best practices for inventory control and warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams for demand planning.

Job Types : Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
