Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Import Executive to manage and coordinate import operations, ensure timely clearance of shipments, maintain documentation, and liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end import operations and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs clearance agents.
- Prepare and verify import documentation such as Purchase Orders, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading/Airway Bill, and Certificates of Origin.
- Ensure compliance with import regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Monitor shipment schedules and follow up for timely delivery.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for receipt of imported goods.
- Maintain records of import transactions and documentation.
- Calculate import costs, duties, taxes, and other related expenses.
- Resolve shipment delays, discrepancies, and customs-related issues.
- Generate reports related to import activities and inventory status.





Required Skills :

- Knowledge of import procedures, customs regulations, and international trade documentation.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding and logistics processes.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in import operations, logistics, or international trade.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in customs clearance and international shipping.
- Knowledge of DGFT regulations, IEC documentation, and import compliance procedures.

Pay: ₹26,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
