Manage inward and outward movement of mechanical and electrical materials
- Verify received materials against purchase orders and delivery challans
- Inspect materials for quantity, quality, and specification compliance
- Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or inventory management systems
- Ensure proper storage and preservation of mechanical and electrical items
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishment
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts
- Prepare material issue slips and ensure timely dispatch to project sites
- Coordinate with purchase, logistics, and project teams for smooth material flow
- Track and report slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory
- Ensure compliance with safety standards in warehouse operations
- Maintain proper documentation of GRN, delivery notes, and stock registers
- Supervise loading and unloading activities
- Implement FIFO/LIFO practices as per company policy
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and material handling processes
