Role & Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose ocular pathologies, and prescribe treatment plans for pediatric and adult patients.
- Perform routine and complex surgical procedures including cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgeries, adhering to clinical best practices.
- Interpret diagnostic imaging (OCT, fundus photography, visual fields) and coordinate with optometrists and specialists for integrated care.
- Document patient records accurately, track outcomes, and comply with clinical and hospital regulatory protocols.
- Lead community outreach and rural screening programs to expand preventive eye care access in the Ajmer region.




- Stay current with emerging ophthalmic technologies and protocols through continuous education and peer collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications

- Must-Have
- MBBS with MD/DNB/DO in Ophthalmology
- Valid registration with State Medical Council
- Proficiency in cataract surgery (MSICS/Phaco)
- Experience with slit-lamp, tonometry, and fundus examination
- Skills in managing diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma cases
- Ability to work in high-volume outpatient and surgical settings
- Preferred
- Experience with LASIK or refractive surgery
- Fellowship in retinal, corneal, or pediatric ophthalmology
- Fluency in Hindi and Rajasthani dialects
