Position : PGT Mathematics Teacher Location : J D Academy, Barabanki

Job Type : Onsite, Full-time Salary Range : INR 15,000 - 22,000 per month.

The PGT Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching Mathematics to senior secondary students (Classes IX-XII) as per the CBSE curriculum , developing solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and preparing students for board examinations and competitive exams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Academic Delivery

- Teach Mathematics to Classes IX and XII according to CBSE syllabus.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments .
- Use innovative teaching methods including smart classes, activities, and practical examples .
- Ensure conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills among students.

2. Student Assessment

- Prepare question papers, tests, and assignments .
- Conduct unit tests, periodic tests, and internal assessments .
- Evaluate answer sheets and maintain academic records.
- Provide feedback to students and parents regarding performance.

3. Classroom Management

- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.
- Encourage participation, discussion, and critical thinking.

4. Academic Support

- Provide extra classes or remedial support to weak students.
- Guide students for board exams and competitive exams (JEE, etc.) .

Curriculum & Planning

- Follow the CBSE curriculum and guidelines .
- Participate in academic planning, syllabus completion, and exam preparation .
- Collaborate with other teachers for interdisciplinary activities.

6. Co-curricular Participation

- Participate in school meetings, training, workshops, and seminars .
- Assist in school events, competitions, and academic activities .

Required Qualifications

- Master’s Degree in Mathematics (M.Sc. Mathematics) .
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized university.
- CTET / State TET (preferred) .
- Minimum 2-5 years teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred.

Skills Required

- Excellent communication and teaching skills .
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts.
- Proficiency in smart boards and digital teaching tools .
- Strong classroom management skills.

Additional Responsibilities

- Maintain student records and progress reports .
- Attend parent-teacher meetings .
- Ensure completion of syllabus within academic timelines .

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
