Job Description - EYP Homeroom Teacher OWIS, Whitefield

Role Overview : OWIS, Whitefield is seeking a caring, reflective, and passionate EYP Homeroom Teacher to lead a class within the IB Primary Years Programme. The Homeroom Teacher will be responsible for delivering inquiry-based learning, ensuring student well-being, and fostering strong partnerships with parents.

Key Responsibilities :

- Plan and deliver inquiry-driven lessons aligned with the IB EYP framework.
- Develop, implement, and reflect on unit planners and assessments.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Monitor, assess, and document student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Foster the EYP Learner Profile, Approaches to Learning (ATL), and student agency.
- Ensure the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students.




- Maintain effective and transparent communication with parents.
- Collaborate with specialists and colleagues for integrated learning experiences.
- Participate in school events, professional development, and IB training.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and school values at all times.

Eligibility & Skills :

- Teaching qualification (B.Ed./PGCE preferred).
- Experience teaching in the IB EYP or an international school environment preferred.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to inquiry-based, student-centered learning.

Job Types : Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
