Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Manager to handle dyed woven fabric and yarn outsourcing activities, ensuring timely material procurement, vendor coordination, quality compliance, and production schedule adherence. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end follow-up with external suppliers, monitoring order status, coordinating with internal departments, and ensuring materials are delivered as per quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Outsourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with external suppliers for dyed woven fabrics and yarn. Maintain strong relationships with vendors, processing units, dyeing units, and textile manufacturers. Follow up on purchase orders, production schedules, material availability, and delivery commitments. Negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms in coordination with the procurement team.

2. Dyed Woven Fabric Follow-up

Monitor fabric processing activities, including dyeing, finishing, and quality inspection. Follow up on fabric production status, shade approvals, lab dips, and bulk production approvals. Ensure fabric specifications, colour consistency, shrinkage, and other quality parameters meet requirements.



Coordinate with suppliers to resolve fabric quality issues, delays, and reprocessing requirements.

3. Yarn Outsourcing Follow-up

Coordinate with yarn suppliers and spinning mills for timely procurement and delivery. Monitor yarn specifications, counts, blends, quality parameters, and order quantities. Track yarn availability, dispatch schedules, and delivery status. Ensure yarn quality and specifications meet production requirements.

4. Production Planning & Coordination

Coordinate with production, merchandising, purchase, quality, stores, and logistics teams. Track material requirements against production plans and customer delivery schedules. Prepare and maintain outsourcing status reports, pending order reports, and delivery trackers. Proactively identify potential delays and take corrective action to avoid production interruptions.

5. Quality, Cost & Delivery Control

Ensure outsourced materials meet approved quality standards and specifications. Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness. Handle supplier complaints, rejections, shortages, and corrective actions. Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, supplier confirmations,



inspection reports, and delivery records.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of dyed woven fabrics, textile processing, and yarn. Experience in outsourcing follow-up, vendor coordination, and material procurement. Good understanding of fabric dyeing, finishing, shade matching, and yarn specifications.

Strong follow-up, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage time-sensitive deliveries. Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems for order tracking and reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in textile mills, home textiles, woven fabric manufacturing, or textile sourcing are preferred. Practical experience handling external dyeing and processing units, fabric suppliers, and spinning mills.

Robust ability to manage multiple orders and ensure on-time material availability. Candidates with a proactive approach to vendor follow-up and production coordination will be preferred.
