Job Summary : The Oven Deep Cleaning Technician is responsible for providing specialized deep cleaning services for residential and commercial ovens. The role involves dismantling oven components, removing grease and carbon buildup, restoring ovens to a high standard of cleanliness, and ensuring safe and professional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Inspect ovens and assess cleaning requirements.
- Dismantle removable oven parts (doors, racks, trays, panels) safely.
- Perform deep cleaning using approved chemicals and specialized equipment.
- Remove grease, carbon deposits, and burnt residues.
- Clean oven glass, interior panels, fans, and filters thoroughly.
- Reassemble oven components correctly after cleaning.
- Ensure no damage to electrical or gas components.
- Follow health and safety procedures when handling chemicals.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and service vehicle.
- Complete service reports and obtain customer sign-off.
- Educate customers on basic oven maintenance and care.
Required Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to handle tools and dismantle/reassemble oven components.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25-30 kg.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality service.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 1-2 years of experience in deep cleaning or appliance cleaning.
- Knowledge of gas and electric oven systems.
- Customer service experience.
