Job Title : EDP Incharge

Job Summary

The EDP (Electronic Data Processing) Incharge is responsible for managing dealership software, maintaining data accuracy, supporting system operations, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments such as Sales, Service, Accounts, and Parts.

Key Responsibilities

- DMS Management :

- Handle and maintain the Dealer Management System (DMS) .

- Ensure accurate entry of vehicle sales, service jobs, parts transactions, and customer details.

- Generate reports from the DMS as required by management.

- Data Management :

- Maintain and update dealership data records.

- Ensure data accuracy, security, and backup of key records.

- Monitor daily system entries for sales, service, and inventory.

- Reporting :

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management.

- Provide reports related to vehicle stock, retail, service orders, and parts inventory.

- System Support :

- Provide technical support to staff for DMS and computer-related issues.

- Coordinate with software vendors or IT support teams when required.

- Coordination with Departments :

- Work closely with Sales, Service,



Parts, and Accounts teams for system updates.

- Ensure proper documentation and system entries for vehicle deliveries, billing, and job cards.

- Hardware & Network Monitoring :

- Monitor computers, printers, and basic network functioning in the dealership.

- Report hardware issues to the IT vendor and ensure timely resolution.

- Compliance & Documentation :

- Maintain digital records of invoices, job cards, and stock reports.

- Ensure dealership processes follow company guidelines and audit requirements.

Skills Required :

- Knowledge of Dealer Management System (DMS) :

- Basic computer networking and hardware knowledge :

- Good data management and reporting skills :

- Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualification

- Graduate in B.Com / BBA / Computer Applications / IT or equivalent.

Experience

- 2-5 years experience in an automobile dealership or similar role

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
