Job Title : System Administrator (Linux - Ubuntu)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and maintain Linux (Ubuntu) servers and related infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of servers.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage server security, firewall configurations, and data backups.
- Monitor logs and proactively resolve system alerts and vulnerabilities.
- Support virtualization technologies (VMware/VirtualBox/KVM).
- Maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for IT infrastructure needs.
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator.
- Strong expertise in Linux administration, especially Ubuntu.
- Experience with shell scripting and automation.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).




- Experience with web servers (Apache/Nginx) and database servers (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with backup and recovery tools.
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of security best practices and firewall management.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Git, CI/CD) is a plus.
- Certification in Linux administration will be an added advantage.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Time management and multitasking skills.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
