Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

Implement and test software designs within established team processes and maintain Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

Integrate APIs with RDBMS, NoSQL databases, backend systems, and third-party services.

Optimize API performance, scalability, and security.

Participate in technical and design reviews, code reviews, and comprehensive product testing.

Troubleshoot and resolve API performance and functional issues.

Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and Architecture teams on global, end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

- 3–5 years of experience in software product development.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and hands-on Java development.
- Strong API and microservices experience using Java/Spring Boot, Python/FastAPI/Flask, or .NET Core.
- Experience with React UI development.
- Hands-on knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, OAuth2, JWT, and API gateways.




- Solid knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and RDBMS, plus working knowledge of Linux.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration tools, cloud deployments, and scripting.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and a self-driven approach.
- Experience with GraphQL, gRPC, Docker, Kubernetes, API monitoring tools, or gateway technologies such as AWS, Azure, WSO2, or Apigee is a bonus.
