About Nava Nava is building the next generation of AI infrastructure and cloud platforms. As we scale globally, we're looking for a Legal Counsel who can partner closely with business teams, navigate complex commercial transactions, and help build a robust legal and compliance function across multiple jurisdictions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a quick-paced, high-growth environment and has experience supporting cross-border commercial and strategic initiatives.
Commercial Contracts
Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of a wide range of commercial agreements, including:
Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)
Co-location and data centre agreements
Partner with Finance, Commercial, Product, Procurement, and Leadership teams to ensure contracts appropriately balance business objectives with legal risk.
Coordinate legal due diligence and assist in transaction execution across multiple jurisdictions.
Regulatory & Compliance
Advise on regulatory and operational matters relating to cloud infrastructure, AI platforms, data centres, and neo-cloud businesses.
Monitor evolving regulatory frameworks across Singapore and the broader APAC region, providing practical guidance to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen compliance processes and mitigate legal and operational risks.
4+ years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE), preferably with a combination of top-tier law firm and in-house experience.
- Strong experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Experience supporting cross-border transactions and multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
- Experience in cloud computing, AI infrastructure, data centres, technology, or digital infrastructure is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Singapore and APAC regulatory environments is a plus.
- Strong commercial judgment with the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice.
- Work on cutting-edge AI infrastructure and cloud technologies.
