Responsibilities

Develop and execute test cases covering software functionality, performance, security, regression, integration, and exploratory scenarios.

Develop, maintain, and expand automated test scripts and frameworks for service-level, system-level, end-to-end, backend, and front-end applications.

Identify, reproduce, document, track, and help resolve software defects and performance issues.

Perform API testing, including validation of contracts, payloads, error handling, and service dependencies.

Validate containerized microservices, deployments, service-to-service communication, configuration changes, and scalability behavior.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support testing across development and deployment environments.

Use version control and configuration management systems to maintain test scripts, cases, and related artifacts.

Prepare test reports, track test coverage and defect metrics, and maintain accurate quality documentation.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, senior testers, DevOps teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.

Contribute to test planning, automation strategy, continuous improvement, and testing process enhancements.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience testing distributed, microservices-based applications.




- Strong experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing solutions across service-level and end-to-end testing.
- Proficiency coding automated test suites for backend services and consumer-facing applications.
- Solid experience with API testing, preferably RESTful services.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized microservices.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
- Experience supporting and validating applications deployed through CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, TestRail, Git, and Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Robot Framework, Python, and other microservices testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, microservices concepts, and test methodologies.
- Ability to write detailed test cases, maintain test documentation, and communicate effectively across teams.
