Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Windchill Senior Consultant to lead the design, implementation, customization and support of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions using PTC Windchill. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional and technical expertise across Windchill modules, business process transformation, CAD-PLM integrations, enterprise system integrations and digital engineering initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, engineering teams, IT organizations and project teams to deliver scalable and business-aligned PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Support implementation, adoption, and operational governance of Windchill+ SaaS environments.
- Participate in cloud transformation initiatives, including assessment, planning, migration and validation activities.
- Understand Windchill+ architecture, tenant management concepts, release management processes and SaaS operating models.
- Collaborate with business, infrastructure, security and PTC teams to ensure successful cloud deployment and adoption.
- Evaluate customizations and integrations for compatibility with Windchill+ best practices and SaaS constraints.
- Define strategies for transitioning legacy on-premises Windchill solutions to Windchill+ while minimizing business disruption.




- Support cloud-ready design principles, standardization efforts and reduction of unsupported customizations.
- Participate in release readiness, regression testing and impact assessments for Windchill+ quarterly updates.
- Understanding of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) concepts and integration patterns between PLM and ALM systems.
- Understanding of Service Lifecycle Management (SLM) processes and their relationship to PLM.
Knowledge of Windchill Service Information Manager (SIM), Service Parts Information Management (SPM), or related service capabilities.
- Understanding of MES integration patterns between Windchill and manufacturing systems.

Required Skills & Experience (Must-Have)

- 7–10 years of hands-on experience with PTC Windchill.
- Strong functional and technical expertise in Windchill PDMLink.
- Experience with Windchill modules such as ProjectLink, PartsLink, MPMLink, Supplier Management or Quality Management.
- Proven experience in Windchill configuration, customization and solution design.
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications.
- Strong understanding of:
- Product Data Management (PDM)
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
- Change Management
- Document Management
- BOM & Product Structure Management
- Workflow & Lifecycle Configuration





- Experience in CAD integrations engineering tools.
- Experience supporting PLM implementation, upgrade, migration or transformation programs.
- CI/CD and DevOps experience for PLM deployment automation.
- Robust ownership, accountability and delivery focus.
- Experience integrating Windchill with enterprise applications using REST APIs, Web Services and middleware technologies.
- Experience of cloud adoption considerations and SaaS deployment models within PLM ecosystems.
- Experience supporting enterprise PLM governance, release management and data migration initiatives.
- Experience on ThingWorx Navigate and/or ThingWorx Foundation.
- Ability to lead solution architecture discussions and provide guidance on Windchill, Windchill+, CAD integrations, enterprise integrations, upgrade strategies and PLM transformation roadmaps.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or cloud-hosted environments.
- Experience integrating Windchill with ERP platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
- Experience in CAD integrations with Creo, NX, CATIA and SolidWorks.
- Experience integrating Windchill with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of MBD, MBE, Digital Thread and Digital Twin concepts.
- Experience with Teamcenter-to-Windchill or ENOVIA-to-Windchill migration projects.
- Experience performing On-Premises Windchill to Windchill+ migration assessments.
- Knowledge of SaaS governance, cloud security, identity management and compliance requirements.
- Familiarity with PTC Atlas Platform and cloud-native PLM deployment concepts.
- Familiarity with Windchill reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence capabilities.
