- Inspect and identify incoming discarded household appliances.
- Diagnose faults and assess the working condition of appliances.
- Identify appliances suitable for repair, refurbishment, reuse, or dismantling, as authorized by the company.
- Prepare inspection reports and record appliance conditions.
- Identify faulty electrical components, wiring, switches, motors, circuit boards, and other parts.
- Replace defective components when repair or refurbishment is approved.
- Test repaired appliances for functionality and electrical safety before release.
- Safely dismantle appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, microwave ovens, televisions, mixers, fans, and other household equipment.
- Separate components such as motors, compressors, cables, circuit boards, plastics, ferrous metals, and non-ferrous metals.
- Identify reusable parts and segregate materials according to company procedures.
- Ensure components are sorted, labelled, and transferred to designated storage areas.
