Senior Content Writer at SJML will lead the creation of high‑quality technical, medical devicecontent, provide editorial leadership, collaborate with subject‑matter experts, and ensurealignment with organizational strategy. The candidate will frequently work cross‑functionallywith design, engineering, manufacturing teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.Strong project management, attention to detail, and proficiency with content tools areessential.Roles & Responsibilities
Technical & Medical Device Content Development Develop and deliver a range of content, including articles, infographics, brochures,whitepapers, presentations, marketing collateral, social media assets, and educationalmaterials. Lead content planning by generating relevant topics and creative presentation ideas. Stay updated on medical device trends and integrate insights into communication andpublication plans.Editorial Leadership & Quality Review and refine content for accuracy, clarity, tone, compliance, and overall quality. Simplify complex scientific or technical information for diverse stakeholders. Maintain style guides to ensure consistency across service lines and product categories.Internal & External Communications Plan and manage internal campaigns, newsletters, leadership messages, and organizationalupdates. Collaborate with multiple teams and leadership to ensure alignment with brand voice andcommunication strategy.Content Strategy & Collaboration Oversee content for websites, email, social media, events, PR, print,



and internalcommunications and manage multiple publication channels. Build and manage content calendars aligned with marketing and brand objectives. Support cross functional teams by contributing to briefs, brainstorming sessions, andcontent needs Specific Skill

 Advanced Writing & Editorial Skills – Write, edit, and proofread high‑quality content withstrong command of grammar, style, tone, and clarity.

 Scientific & Technical Writing (Healthcare/MedTech) – Produce technical, data‑driven medicalcontent and simplify complex scientific information; knowledgeable about healthcare/MedTechnorms and regulations. Research & Data Interpretation – Conduct literature reviews, analyze scientific data, fact‑check,and maintain accurate referencing. SEO & Content Optimization – Apply SEO best practices while preserving readability andcontent quality. Content Strategy & Planning – Build content calendars and multi‑format strategies; contributeto publication plans and communication initiatives. Multi‑Format Content Development – Create long‑form, short-form content, marketingpresentations, social media materials,



and digital assets. Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Work effectively with design, engineering, manufacturing andleadership teams. Tools & Platforms – Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with content tools, referencing systems,or e‑learning platforms is a plus. Project & Organizational Skills – Manage multiple deliverables with strong prioritization andtime‑management abilities.
General Skills
Bachelor’s or advanced degree (preferred) in Life Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedical fields, orrelated scientific disciplines.4-6 years of medical/scientific writing experience within a medical communications agency,pharmaceutical environment, or healthcare consulting context. Excellent Communication Skills - Clear verbal and written communication, especially wheninteracting with experts, and internal teams. Project & Time Management - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver withindeadlines. Attention to Detail - Strong detail orientation for accuracy, compliance, fact checking, and styleconsistency. Strategic Thinking - Understanding how content ties into business goals, branding, andcommunication strategy. Creativity & Problem Solving - Ability to generate new ideas, angles, and creative contentapproaches. Adaptability & Continuous Learning - Staying updated on industry trends, scientific developments,and evolving communication channels. Collaboration and Teamwork - Robust interpersonal skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinaryteams.
