Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain & Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations at our food processing unit in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for procurement of raw materials and packaging, inventory planning, warehouse management, logistics, and distribution. You will ensure uninterrupted material availability for production, maintain optimal inventory levels, and drive cost efficiencies while upholding food safety and FIFO/FEFO standards in storage.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Chain Planning & Procurement:

- Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with production plans and sales forecasts.
- Plan and procure raw materials (flours, starches, proteins, oils, seasonings) and packaging materials in coordination with the R&D; and QA teams.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
- Monitor market trends and commodity price fluctuations to optimize procurement costs.
- Coordinate with Production, QA, and R&D; teams to ensure material specifications and approvals are met.

2. Inventory & Demand Planning:

- Drive S&OP; (Sales & Operations Planning) processes with Sales, Production, and Finance teams.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels (RM, PM, WIP, FG) to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
- Monitor inventory turns, ageing, and slow-moving/non-moving stock; implement corrective actions.
- Ensure accurate MRP (Material Requirement Planning) and production scheduling support.

3. Warehouse Management:

- Oversee all warehouse operations receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
- Ensure strict adherence to FIFO/FEFO, food safety, and GMP standards in storage areas.
- Maintain warehouse layout, space utilization, and cold/ambient storage conditions as per product requirements.
- Implement and monitor WMS (Warehouse Management System)



and barcode/stock accuracy systems.
- Conduct regular cycle counts, physical stock verification, and reconciliation of discrepancies.

4. Logistics & Distribution:

- Manage inbound and outbound logistics transporter selection, freight negotiation, and route optimization.
- Ensure timely dispatch of finished goods to distributors, modern trade, and institutional customers.
- Track shipments, resolve transit issues, and monitor OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance.
- Handle documentation for GST, e-way bills, and statutory compliance related to logistics.

5. Compliance, Cost & Team Management:

- Ensure compliance with FSSAI storage norms, statutory requirements, and internal audit standards.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives across procurement, warehousing, and logistics.
- Lead, train, and mentor the supply chain and warehouse teams.
- Maintain MIS reports on procurement, inventory, dispatch, and supply chain KPIs.

Key Requirements (Must-Have)

- Education: MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience in supply chain and warehouse management within the Food Processing / FMCG industry.
- Technical Knowledge: Robust understanding of MRP, inventory planning, warehouse operations, and food safety storage norms (FIFO/FEFO, GMP).
- Systems Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Dynamics) and WMS; strong MS Excel skills.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with FSSAI storage norms, GST/e-way bill compliance, and logistics documentation.
- Solid Experience in Handling Logistics & Transport Companies in Hyderabad.
