Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Oracle and Angular, along with experience in designing, developing and supporting cloud-based enterprise applications.

The candidate will be responsible for technical ownership of application modules, solution design, development oversight, code quality, performance optimization, integration, cloud deployment support and technical mentoring of the development team.

The role requires a strong combination of hands-on technical expertise, solutioning capability and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Leadership & Solutioning

- Own the technical design and implementation of application modules.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Drive technical solutioning before development/implementation.
- Define application components, interfaces, APIs and database interactions.
- Review technical designs and ensure adherence to architecture and coding standards.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in application modernization and migration initiatives.

2. Java & Spring Boot

- Strong hands-on development experience in Core Java, Spring and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop scalable enterprise applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Implement business logic, validations, exception handling and transaction management.
- Review code for quality, performance, security and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot complex application and production issues.
- Drive refactoring and technical debt reduction.

3. Oracle & Database

- Strong experience with Oracle Database and SQL/PL-SQL.
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views and packages.
- Analyze execution plans and identify database performance bottlenecks.
- Drive database query optimization and performance improvement.
- Work with DBAs on indexing, partitioning, materialized views and database tuning.
- Review data migration, archival and data-purging strategies.

4. Angular / Frontend

- Good hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript.
- Develop and review reusable Angular components.
- Integrate Angular applications with REST APIs.
- Optimize frontend performance, API consumption and application rendering.
- Implement appropriate caching mechanisms to reduce redundant API calls.
- Troubleshoot frontend and backend integration issues.
- Ensure responsive, maintainable and user-friendly application interfaces.

5. Cloud Application Development





- Experience designing and deploying applications on Azure / AWS / GCP.
- Good understanding of cloud-native application architecture.
- Work with cloud services for compute, storage, databases, networking and monitoring.
- Experience with containerization using Docker; Kubernetes knowledge is an advantage.
- Understand CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
- Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure applications are designed for scalability, availability, security and resilience.

6. Application Architecture & Modernization

- Strong understanding of monolithic and microservices architectures.
- Identify suitable candidates for phased decomposition from monolith to microservices.
- Design API-driven and service-oriented solutions.
- Evaluate caching, asynchronous processing and integration patterns.
- Drive modernization while minimizing impact on existing business operations.

7. Performance Optimization

Drive performance optimization across the complete technology stack:

Angular API Java Backend Oracle DB Cloud Infrastructure

- API call optimization
- Frontend rendering and caching
- Database query optimization
- Connection pool optimization
- Batch processing
- Application logging
- Memory and CPU utilization
- Cloud resource utilization

8. Integration & API Management

- Design and review REST APIs and system integrations.
- Define API request/response structures and error-handling mechanisms.
- Work with API Gateway and authentication/authorization mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot integration and timeout issues.
- Ensure APIs meet performance, security and scalability requirements.

9. Production Support & RCA

- Provide technical leadership for critical production issues.
- Conduct detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Identify permanent corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with development, QA, DBA, infrastructure and business teams.
- Monitor application stability and performance.
- Support incident, problem and change management processes.

10. Team Leadership & Mentoring

- Lead and mentor developers and junior technical resources.
- Allocate technical tasks based on skills and priorities.
- Conduct code/design reviews.
- Establish coding and development standards.
- Support team members in resolving complex technical issues.




- Promote knowledge sharing and cross-training.
- Ensure adequate technical backup for critical modules.

11. Delivery & Agile Collaboration

- Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts and QA teams.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation and technical discussions.
- Provide technical estimates and identify dependencies.
- Track development progress and proactively highlight technical risks.
- Support SIT, UAT and production releases.
- Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality and technical standards.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have

- 8–10 years of software development experience.
- Strong Java / Spring Boot experience.
- Strong Oracle / SQL / PL-SQL knowledge.
- Good Angular / TypeScript experience.
- REST API and integration experience.
- Microservices architecture knowledge.
- Cloud application development/deployment experience.
- Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills.
- Experience leading technical teams.

BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
