About the Role

We are looking for a PACP-Certified Pipeline Video Inspection Analyst to support our U.S. pipeline inspection operations remotely from India.

The role involves reviewing CCTV/video footage of underground pipelines and sewer systems captured by field inspection teams in the U.S. The analyst will identify and classify visible pipe conditions, defects, leakage/infiltration, structural issues, obstructions and other abnormalities, and accurately document the findings in accordance with NASSCO PACP standards.

The position requires strong attention to detail, positive understanding of pipeline conditions and the ability to analyse extended CCTV footage accurately and consistently.

Key Responsibilities

- Review CCTV/video footage of underground pipelines, sewer lines and related infrastructure.
- Inspect video footage for leaks, infiltration/inflow, cracks, fractures, breaks, holes, deformation, collapsed sections, joint defects, root intrusion, debris, grease, blockages and other abnormalities.
- Identify and classify defects in accordance with NASSCO PACP coding standards.
- Record the location, type, severity and characteristics of observed defects.
- Review inspection data, pipe information, footage and associated documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Enter inspection observations and defect codes into the relevant PACP-compliant inspection software/database.
- Identify inconsistencies, poor-quality footage or missing information and escalate them for review.
- Ensure accurate linkage between video footage, inspection observations, defect locations and reports.
- Perform quality checks on completed inspection reports and coded data.
- Maintain productivity and accuracy targets while reviewing potentially long-duration CCTV footage.




- Coordinate with U.S.-based field inspection teams and supervisors for clarification of inspection findings.
- Support preparation of inspection reports and documentation for U.S. clients.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of client/project information.

Required Qualifications

- Valid NASSCO PACP Certification Mandatory.
- Certification must be current; NASSCO states PACP certification is valid for three years and requires recertification. (NASSCO)
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Infrastructure, Construction, or a related technical discipline preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in CCTV pipeline/sewer inspection, PACP coding, pipeline condition assessment or related infrastructure inspection.
- Strong understanding of pipeline structural and operational defects.
- Experience working with PACP inspection software/databases.
- Strong visual observation and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects in video footage.
- Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Experience

- Experience supporting U.S. sewer, stormwater or underground infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience as a CCTV operator, PACP coder, pipeline condition assessment analyst or inspection reviewer.
- Experience with PACP-compliant inspection reports and databases.
- Knowledge of LACP/MACP is an advantage.
- Familiarity with GIS, pipe inspection software or asset-management systems is a plus.

- Service connections / laterals
- Pipe sags
- Defective or failed lining
- Other structural and maintenance-related defects

NASSCO’s PACP curriculum specifically covers structural defect coding including cracks, fractures, breaks, holes, deformation, collapse, joints and surface damage. (NASSCO)

Work Environment

This is a 100% remote/office-based role in India. The employee will work with CCTV footage and inspection data generated by field teams operating in the United States.

The role does not require the employee to physically enter pipelines or visit U.S. inspection sites. The primary responsibility is the remote analysis, coding, quality checking and documentation of inspection footage.
