1. Job Summary

Senses Akustik Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative and technically skilled Industrial Product Designer to join its Research & Development team. The candidate will be responsible for developing and improving product designs, preparing technical drawings, selecting suitable raw materials, and coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are practical, functional, and production-ready.

The ideal candidate should have experience in product design and manufacturing, preferably in the interior products, furniture, or architectural products industry.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative industrial product designs based on project requirements and business needs.
- Prepare 2D technical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Study product concepts, dimensions, materials, functionality, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Select appropriate raw materials based on product specifications, quality, durability, and cost.
- Understand manufacturing processes and ensure designs are suitable for production.
- Coordinate with production, projects, sampling, procurement, and other relevant teams.
- Prepare technical drawings, design specifications, material details, and product documentation.
- Support prototype development, sample preparation, testing, and design modifications.




- Identify opportunities for product improvement, cost optimization, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Ensure that product designs meet quality requirements, functional expectations, and agreed specifications.
- Maintain updated design files, drawings, and documentation.
- Explore new materials, design concepts, and manufacturing techniques relevant to the company's product portfolio.

3. Required Technical Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drawings and technical documentation.
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks for 3D modelling and product design.
- Understanding of raw materials, material properties, and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of product development, design detailing, and prototype development.
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office and related design tools.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and convert concepts into production-ready designs.

4. Essential Requirements

- 35 years of relevant experience in industrial product design or product development.
- Educational background in Industrial Product Designing or a closely related design discipline.
- Previous experience working in a design and manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.




- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Good communication, documentation, and time-management skills.

5. Preferred Qualifications / Add-On Skills

- Knowledge of Revit software.
- Experience in the interior product, furniture, architectural product, or related manufacturing industry.
- Experience in developing prototypes, samples, and production drawings.
- Understanding of design feasibility, material optimization, and manufacturing cost considerations.
- Exposure to new product development and continuous product improvement.

- Timely completion of design assignments and product development activities.
- Accuracy and completeness of technical drawings and 3D models.
- Design feasibility and ease of manufacturing.
- Quality and success of prototypes and product samples.
- Effective coordination with production and other departments.

- Compliance with product specifications and design requirements.

7. Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should combine creativity with solid technical knowledge and practical manufacturing understanding. The candidate must be capable of translating product concepts into technically accurate, functional, and manufacturable designs while working closely with internal teams.
