Roles & Responsibilities Senior Wintel Engineer

- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Manage the complete Windows Server lifecycle, including installation, configuration, deployment, OS upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of complex Windows Server incidents.
- Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts to automate server provisioning, patching, reporting, administrative tasks, and incident remediation.
- Manage enterprise Windows Server patching, updates, and configuration management using SCCM and Ansible.
- Implement security hardening, vulnerability remediation, Group Policy, access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Support Windows infrastructure across cloud IaaS and hybrid environments, including cloud migration initiatives.
- Manage BAU operations covering Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and Service Requests while meeting defined SLAs.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR),



Site Recovery, backup validation, and business continuity activities.
- Collaborate with Active Directory, DNS, Network, Security, VMware/ESXi, and application support teams to resolve infrastructure issues.
- Monitor server health, capacity, availability, and performance, identifying opportunities for proactive maintenance and service improvement.
- Support security audits, remediate audit findings, and ensure compliance with enterprise infrastructure security standards.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using PowerShell and Ansible to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and contribute to Windows infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
