Carry out servicing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and retrofit work for commercial air-conditioning systems.
Responsibilities
- Service and maintain VRF, cassette, tower and ductable air-conditioning units.
- Diagnose cooling, electrical, refrigerant, drainage, control and mechanical issues, and recommend corrective action.
- Carry out routine and breakdown service visits, including equipment checks, cleaning and performance verification.
- Support retrofit and replacement work at customer locations.
- Record service findings, parts used and work completed for each job.
- Follow protected service practices and keep tools and test instruments in working condition.
Requirements
- Hands-on maintenance knowledge of VRF, cassette, tower and ductable AC systems.
- Experience with AC servicing, troubleshooting and retrofit jobs.
- Ability to attend field service calls and diagnose faults methodically.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and standard HVAC testing procedures.
- Ability to interpret service manuals and communicate faults clearly to supervisors.
Work setting: Field-based service work at customer sites.
