Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Software Quality Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, software verification, and automation framework development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building automation frameworks from scratch, developing UI and API automation, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute automated test cases for web applications, APIs, backend services, and end-to-end workflows.
- Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks from scratch using modern programming languages and automation tools.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and reliable software releases.
- Validate requirements, maintain test coverage and traceability, and ensure test documentation is accurate.
- Identify, report, track, and investigate defects in collaboration with development and product teams.
- Participate in test planning, test readiness reviews, release quality assessments, and verification reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Mandatory Skills

- 6+ years of experience in software testing,



quality engineering, or test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience in automation framework development, preferably building frameworks from scratch.
- Solid programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript and/or C#/.NET.
- Experience with Playwright; Cypress or Selenium experience may also be considered.
- Experience with UI automation, API automation, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with Git and version control.
- Experience with requirements, test management, and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Jama Connect, or equivalent.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies, test strategy, test planning, and defect lifecycle management.

Good to Have

- Experience testing cloud-based, distributed, or edge applications.
- Knowledge of Linux/Windows environments, containers, networking, authentication, and security fundamentals.
- Experience preparing traceability matrices, verification reports, and release quality documentation.
- ISTQB certification or experience supporting quality audits.

- Medical-device domain experience is not mandatory.
- Regulatory compliance experience is not mandatory.
- Candidates must demonstrate strong automation coding skills and the ability to design and build frameworks independently.
