Job Title: Sr Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

To lead business development, and technical-commercial activities for C-Class products such as fasteners, and other industrial consumables. The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing sales processes, mentoring junior sales staff, and acting as the technical authority for complex customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sales & Business Development
Drive sales growth in assigned region/segment by developing and executing strategic plans.
Identify high-potential markets and target customers in manufacturing, and engineering sectors.
Develop value-selling propositions and secure long-term supply agreements for C-Class products.
Negotiate high-value contracts and annual rate agreements with key customers.
2. Technical Consultation & Solutions
Provide advanced technical support, interpreting complex drawings and specifications.
Recommend product substitutions or cost-effective alternatives while maintaining quality standards.
Liaise with engineering and product management teams for customized solutions.
3. Team Leadership & Mentoring
Guide and mentor junior sales engineers on technical selling, customer handling, and negotiation skills.
Assist in onboarding current team members and sharing market/product knowledge.
4. Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and emerging technologies in C-Class components.
Submit timely sales reports, market insights, and sales forecasts to management.
Provide input for pricing strategies and product portfolio optimization.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with supply chain, procurement,



and quality teams to ensure on-time delivery and quality compliance.
Support product trials, audits, and customer quality reviews.

Revenue growth vs. target in assigned territory.
New business acquisition value and volume.
Retention and expansion of key accounts.
Gross margin improvement on C-Class product portfolio.
Customer satisfaction scores.
Contribution to sales team skill development.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:
Bachelor s degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
Experience:
3-5 years of proven sales experience in industrial consumables, fasteners, or C-Class products.
Experience in handling key accounts and negotiating large contracts.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of C-Class products, fasteners, and consumables.
Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
Soft Skills:
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Strategic thinking with commercial acumen.
Leadership and mentoring ability.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
