Job Title: Costa Barista

Role Overview We are looking for an energetic and friendly Barista to join our Costa Coffee team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, delivering handcrafted coffee and exceptional customer service. While your core passion lies in crafting the perfect cup of coffee, you will also frequently take customer orders, handle the till, and serve food and beverages directly to tables or collection points. Key Responsibilities Coffee Crafting & Quality Prepare and serve Costa’s wide range of hot and cold beverages (Espressos, Lattes, Cappuccinos, Flat Whites, and seasonal specialties) to brand standards. Maintain deep knowledge of our coffee blends, grind profiles, and milk-steaming techniques. Customer Service & Order Handling Greet customers warmly as they enter and guide them through our menu offerings. Take accurate orders at the point of sale, ensuring special dietary requirements or modifications are noted. Operate the cash register and payment terminal quickly and accurately. Serve food and drinks directly to customers at their tables or the pickup counter, ensuring a welcoming and hospitable experience.



Store Operations & Food Safety Restock and display food items, snacks, and merchandise following merchandising guidelines. Clean and sanitize work areas, coffee machines, utensils, and seating areas throughout the shift. Adhere to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations to keep both our team and customers safe.

Skills & Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or hospitality environment is a plus, but not required (full training will be provided). Communication: Robust verbal communication skills to interact effortlessly with customers and team members. Multitasking: Ability to seamlessly switch between crafting drinks, taking orders, and serving guests during peak rush hours. Punctuality: Reliable and flexible to work various shifts, which may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
