About Welcome Finance

Welcome Finance is a London-based FinTech helping businesses in the UK and Ireland access tailored business finance. Our in-house CRM and platform manage the full loan journey, from enquiry and customer communication to lender matching and funding.

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior, hands-on developer to take complete ownership of our live CRM platform, built on Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js and PostgreSQL. You will be our main developer: maintaining and improving the system, building new features, and able to design a CRM of this kind from scratch if needed. You will work directly with the management team in our Delhi office. This is a long-term role for someone who wants to stay and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

- Own our CRM end to end: lead management, staff roles and permissions, telecaller assignment, lender matching, reports and customer portal
- Build and maintain integrations for WhatsApp (Twilio WhatsApp Business API), SMS (Twilio) and email (SendGrid and Google Workspace), including webhooks
- Manage the PostgreSQL database: schema design, secure migrations, backups and performance
- Manage authentication and role-based access control, and keep customer and financial data secure (UK GDPR)
- Handle deployments (Netlify, GitHub) and fix production issues quickly
- Write clean, documented, tested code




- Guide and mentor developers as the team grows

What We Look For

Core Requirements:

- 8+ years of development experience, including 5+ years full stack in Node.js, React and TypeScript
- Strong Next.js experience in production
- Strong PostgreSQL skills
- Experience with REST APIs, webhooks and third-party integrations
- Experience taking over and maintaining an existing live system
- Built or worked on a CRM, lead management, ERP or lending system
- Uses AI coding tools (Claude, Cursor, Copilot) responsibly, reviewing and testing every change
- Stable career history, with at least one role of 3+ years at a single company

Preferred:

- Twilio (SMS/WhatsApp), SendGrid, Clerk, Neon or Netlify experience
- Fintech, lending or financial services background
- Experience mentoring or leading developers
