Key Responsibilities

- Drive business development and achieve revenue targets in Bengaluru and nearby regions (Karnataka).
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Development Managers to acquire current corporate clients requiring credit rating services.
- Manage the complete client onboarding process and coordinate documentation.
- Prepare presentations, proposals, commercial offers, and pitch decks for large corporate and CXO-level clients.
- Own the sales pipeline, CRM, MIS reports, and client database for the region.
- Conduct market research on industries, companies, and competitors to identify new business segments.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with banks, NBFCs, financial institutions, and industry bodies.
- Attend client meetings, industry events, and represent company at key forums.
- Keep abreast of financial markets, credit risk, and regulatory developments (SEBI/RBI).

Required Skills

- 10+ years of Business Development experience, preferably in a Credit Rating Agency, Banking, or NBFC.
- Proven experience managing and mentoring a sales/BD team (5+ members).
- Strong understanding of:
- Credit rating products (Bank Loan Rating, NCD,



Commercial Paper, SME Ratings)
- Financial statements and cash flow analysis
- Banking and financial markets
- Corporate lending ecosystem
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and CXO-level relationship management skills.
- Strong presentation, proposal-writing, and commercial negotiation abilities.
- Good analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Self-driven with a consistent track record of achieving/exceeding revenue targets.

- Credit rating agencies (CRISIL, ICRA, CARE, Acuité, India Ratings, Brickwork, SMERA)
- Banks (Corporate/SME/RM roles)
- NBFCs
- Financial advisory firms
- Companies selling financial products to corporates

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
