Qualification: B.A./M.A. in Social Science/History/Geography/Political Science/Economics with B.Ed. preferred
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated TGT Social Science Teacher to teach students of Classes 6–10. The candidate should have solid subject knowledge and the ability to make History, Geography, Civics, and Economics interesting and easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Science to students of Classes 6–10 as per the school curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Teach History, Geography, Civics, and Economics concepts clearly and effectively.
- Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and active participation among students.
- Conduct class tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Evaluate students’ academic performance and maintain proper records.
- Provide additional academic support to students who need improvement.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school activities.
- Stay updated with modern teaching methods and educational practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a relevant Social Science subject with B.Ed. preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Social Science subjects.
- Excellent communication and classroom-management skills.
- Ability to explain concepts using practical examples and engaging activities.
- Passion for teaching and working with school students.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.
