Role Overview

The Cash Application Specialist role provides hands-on exposure to cash application activities, payment allocation, customer account review, and process improvement while working closely with experienced team members. Key Responsibilities

- 2 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Knowledge of customer payment and Order-to-Cash processes through hands-on learning and mentoring.
- Support cash application activities such as payment allocation, account review, and follow-up on open or unapplied payments under guidance from the team.
- Learn and follow company policies, SOPs, and DTPs while performing daily activities.




- Assist in reviewing On Account, Unprocessed, Partially Applied, Short Pay, Overpayment, Duplicate, and Inter-division transactions to support SLA compliance.
- Work with internal teams to gather information, clarify payment details, and support timely resolution of queries.
- Use Microsoft Excel and internal systems to update trackers, validate data, and support reporting activities.
- Identify simple process gaps or improvement ideas and share observations with the team.
- Show willingness to learn current responsibilities and grow within the Finance / Accounts Receivable function.

Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in finance/accounting.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, with openness to learn ERP/finance systems.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a positive learning mindset.
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts.
