Role Overview
The BBG RM is responsible for managing and growing relationships with business banking customers, acquiring new
clients, deepening existing relationships and delivering suitable banking solutions across working capital, business
loans, transaction banking, deposits and related products. The role requires strong customer engagement, credit
understanding, sales capability and portfolio management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Acquire new Business Banking / SME customers through direct sourcing, market visits, referrals and existing
networks.
Manage and deepen relationships with existing business banking customers and increase customer wallet share.
¢ Understand customer business models, financial requirements, cash flows and banking needs.
¢ Generate business across working capital, term loans, business loans, overdraft / cash credit, trade finance, deposits
and transaction banking products, as applicable.
¢ Coordinate with credit, operations, product and other internal teams for smooth processing and timely closure of
proposals.
¢ Prepare and submit quality credit proposals with appropriate customer information, financial analysis and supporting
documents.
¢ Monitor portfolio quality, repayment behaviour, documentation, renewals and other post-disbursement requirements.
¢ Achieve assigned business targets relating to advances, liabilities, fee income, customer acquisition and cross-sell.




¢ Maintain regular contact with customers and identify opportunities for cross-selling relevant banking products.
¢ Ensure adherence to the bank's internal policies, KYC / AML requirements, credit norms and regulatory guidelines.
Preferred Candidate Profile
¢ Graduate degree required; MBA / PGDM in Finance or Marketing may be preferred.
¢ Relevant experience in Business Banking, SME Banking, Commercial Banking, Relationship Management or similar
banking roles.
¢ Experience in sourcing and managing SME / business banking customers and handling secured / unsecured
business lending products.
¢ Positive understanding of financial statements, credit assessment, working capital requirements and banking products.
¢ Strong sales, negotiation, customer relationship and communication skills.
¢ Ability to work with business targets and manage a customer portfolio independently.
