Role: Hadoop Administrator
Location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad

Over all Experience (With Linux experience) 5 plus years.
Hadoop Administrator Experience - 1- 3 years.

- Day-to-day operation activities including, incidents, problem and change management.
- Day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting of jobs, problems and performance issues in Hadoop clusters.
- Linux administration and script automation.
- Ready for production 24 7 support.
- MapR, MapR DB and HBase Administraiton.
- Investigate and characterize non-trivial performance issues in various Hadoop/mapr cluster environments.

Must have:

- Linux Administration Skills
- Experience in designing, implementing and administering highly available Hadoop clusters
- Experience working with MapR vendor ecosystems
- Knowledge of capacity planning, management, and troubleshooting for HDFS, YARN/MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Oozie, MapR DB, Machine Learning and HBase




- Understanding of network concepts and experience managing host level network services
- Background with common automation tools. Stack-IQ, Puppet is plus.
- Background with a higher level scripting language, such as Perl, Python, Shell.
- Experience in middleware technologies Tomcat, Jboss, Kibana, ES, Redis is plus. Qualifications

Basic Qualifications :-

- Education: BS Computer Science / B Tech Computers/BSE Computers / MS Computer Science / Masters Computer Application (MCA), BE Bachelor of Engineering.
- At least 5 Years of experience in IT Services / Consulting/ Technology / Software Development
