Role & responsibilities

- Coordinate with fashion designers to develop current collections, styles and apparel products.
- Research fashion trends, market demand, fabrics, colours, silhouettes and competitor collections.
- Identify suitable fabric suppliers, garment manufacturers and other vendors.
- Coordinate fabric sourcing, sampling, trims, accessories and product specifications.
- Prepare product costing, quotations, bills of materials and merchandise plans.
- Follow up on samples, approvals, production schedules, quality standards and delivery timelines.
- Maintain tech packs, size charts, measurement sheets, sample records and product documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors to negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities and delivery schedules.
- Monitor production progress and resolve merchandising-related issues.
- Coordinate with the marketing and e-commerce teams for product launches, catalogue information and collection readiness.
- Maintain inventory and merchandise trackers and prepare regular progress reports.
- Ensure products meet the brand's quality, design,



cost and timeline requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Fashion merchandising and apparel product development.
- Fabric sourcing and vendor management.
- Product costing, negotiation and price comparison.
- Sampling, production follow-up and quality coordination.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims and apparel terminology.
- Excel, Google Sheets and merchandising documentation.
- Planning, communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.

Candidate Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience in fashion merchandising, apparel merchandising or garment product development.
- Graduate in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Merchandising or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with garment manufacturers, fabric vendors and sampling units.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines.
- Experience with an apparel or fashion brand is preferred.
