Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer SDET with strong hands-on expertise in Python, Selenium, and Playwright. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, executing functional and regression testing, and ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python, Selenium, and Playwright.
Design and execute UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks using PyTest and Page Object Model (POM).
Identify, analyze, and report software defects using Jira or similar tools.
Perform cross-browser and parallel test execution using Selenium and Playwright.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and REST API frameworks.
Write and execute SQL queries for backend/data validation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage.
Analyze test results and provide explicit status reports to stakeholders.
Continuously improve automation coverage, framework stability, and test execution efficiency.





Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Mandatory Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Python automation testing.
Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver.
Hands-on experience with Playwright.
Good knowledge of PyTest and automation framework development.
Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and data-driven testing.
Valuable understanding of web application testing and browser automation.
Experience with Git/GitHub/Bitbucket.
Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
Strong knowledge of SQL.
Good communication and analytical skills.
Good to Have
Experience in API testing using Postman or REST API frameworks.
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Behave/Cucumber.
Experience in parallel and cross-browser testing.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in QA Automation SDET roles.
Strong hands-on experience in Python, Selenium, and Playwright is mandatory.
