Key Roles & Responsibilities Resident Medical Officer (RMO)
- Examine patients, assess their medical conditions, and provide appropriate treatment.
- Monitor IPD and emergency patients and ensure timely medical intervention.
- Conduct patient rounds and monitor vital signs and clinical progress.
- Attend medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, and treatment documentation.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and other hospital departments.
- Implement doctors’ instructions and ensure proper follow-up of treatment plans.
- Monitor patients before and after surgical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards.
- Communicate with patients and their relatives regarding routine care and progress.
- Ensure proper handover of patients during shift changes.
