Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), financial accounting, and UAE accounting practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IFRS, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and General Ledger (GL) activities for UAE operations.
- Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and review Trial Balance, Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and financial reports.
- Perform GL and Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and other accounting adjustments.
- Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations.




- Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax accounting, reporting, and compliance.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management review.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide the required supporting documents.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, applicable UAE statutory regulations, and internal accounting policies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and identify opportunities to improve accounting processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Relevant hands-on experience in UAE Accounting and General Ledger activities.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
- Understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
- Experience in financial statement preparation, reconciliations, and period-end closing.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
