Role & responsibilities

This role will design Automotive Exterior lighting such as exterior headlamps, fog lamps, side running lights, Tail lamps, Direction indicator lamp & CHMSL lamps as per direction of Customer engineers. Should be able to produce engineering design and concepts into 3D model using CATIA V5.

Preferred candidate profile

- Complete ownership of CAD Design of exterior lighting using CATIA V5.
- Provide technical solution and generate CAD data (3D & 2D).
- Development of Concept and Master sections, leading and progressing the design in line with the program timescales and to meet styling intent and ensure regulatory requirements.
- Interface with Customer engineering to achieve technically feasible designs.
- Define GD&T;, customer Assembly and component drawings etc.




- To be able to work a team player & potential to promote to team leader position & able to assign and get the work done from team members effectively.
- Upholds customer working practices, rules and regulations and supports a positive cooperative culture.
- Ensure manufacturing feasibility & and assure the packaging requirements are met
- Ensuring that the all project deliverables is met at given time with tracking sheet.
- Maintain design logs of all engineering requests or direction.
- Operates flexibly conducts all duties reasonable requested by direct manager, customer and or key stakeholders.
