Role Description The Commis I / Commis II role is a full time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role supports the kitchen team in daily food preparation, cooking, and plating according to established recipes and standards. Responsibilities include maintaining high hygiene and safety standards, organizing workstation mise en place, and assisting in inventory management and stock rotation. The Commis I / Commis II collaborates with senior chefs, follows kitchen procedures, and helps ensure smooth service during busy periods.



The position also involves learning new culinary techniques, adhering to quality control guidelines, and contributing to a clean, efficient kitchen environment. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Food Preparation and Cooking, with developing Culinary Skills suitable for a professional kitchen environment.
• Commitment to Hygiene, including food safety practices, cleanliness, and adherence to health regulations.
• Effective Communication skills to coordinate with chefs, service staff, and team members in a rapid-paced setting.
• Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or culinary internship is preferred.
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment, portion control, and quality standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by kitchen operations.
• Culinary diploma, certificate, or relevant training is an advantage.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and capacity to work as part of a diverse team.
