Role Description The Video Editor role at Epik is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The Video Editor will plan, edit, and assemble video content that showcases Epik’s unique product experience formats for marketing campaigns, social media, and in-app content. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with creative, marketing, and product teams to understand briefs, selecting and organizing footage, applying transitions, effects, and color grading, and optimizing videos for different platforms and aspect ratios. The role also involves creating basic motion graphics, integrating brand elements,



and ensuring all video outputs align with Epik’s visual identity and storytelling approach. The Video Editor is expected to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the overall content strategy. Qualifications
• Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience creating short-form and long-form content.
• Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and high-quality visual output.
• Ability to create and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to enhance storytelling and brand presence.
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects).
• Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and best practices for web, mobile, and social platforms.
• Strong visual sense, attention to detail, and ability to maintain brand consistency across all content.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a rapid-paced environment.
• Relevant education or training in film, media, communication, design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating prior video editing work; experience in e-commerce or product-focused content is an advantage.
