Role Description The Vice President Industrial Coating Division is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Mumbai, responsible for overseeing strategy, operations, and growth of the industrial coating business. This role includes leading product and process development for coating solutions, managing project execution for industrial clients, and ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across all coating activities. The Vice President will collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, R&D;, procurement, and sales to align coating technologies with customer requirements and company objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include setting divisional goals, guiding technical teams, managing budgets and resources, monitoring performance metrics,



and building relationships with key customers and partners. The role also involves evaluating new coating technologies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting bids, proposals, and long-term business development. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Chemistry with practical experience in industrial coatings, materials, or surface treatment technologies.
• Minimum experience of 15 years in similar industry.
• Experience in working with Thermal Power Stations in Chemical / Mechanical deciplines will be preferred.
• The candidate shall be responsible for product research, business development and project execution.
• Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) and Research, including designing experiments, analyzing data, and translating findings into commercial products or process improvements.
• Proven leadership experience managing technical and operational teams within industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement division-level strategies, manage budgets, and drive profitability and sustainable growth.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with experience engaging clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Relevant advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent management qualification is an advantage.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards, quality management systems, and environmental regulations applicable to coatings and chemical operations.
