Role Description This is a full time, on-site Construction Engineer role based in Chennai. The Construction Engineer will plan, coordinate, and oversee construction activities for EPCC projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting construction and civil engineering drawings, supervising work at site, and coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues. The role involves monitoring heavy equipment usage,



conducting inspections, documenting site progress, and supporting quality and HSE requirements. The Construction Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, assist in resource planning, and help optimize construction methods to achieve project efficiency and reliability. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Construction Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex EPCC projects.
• Ability to read, interpret, and work with Construction Drawings and related technical documentation.
• Experience working with Heavy Equipment, including safe operation oversight and coordination at construction sites.
• Proficiency in conducting site Inspection activities to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in petroleum, oil & gas, offshore-onshore, or marine projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of HSE standards, quality management systems, and relevant industry codes and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office tools is beneficial.
