Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based in Chennai at TK Health Care – Multispeciality Clinic & Diagnostic Centre, Ramapuram. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and assisting with procedures under the guidance of physicians and senior clinicians. The role involves coordinating patient admissions and discharges, preparing patients for diagnostic tests and day-care procedures, and ensuring accurate documentation in medical records. The nurse will educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, preventive health measures, and post-procedure care, while promoting infection control and safety standards. Daily responsibilities also include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams,



supporting physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs as needed, and maintaining a compassionate and reassuring workplace for patients. Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse qualification (GNM, B.
Sc Nursing, or equivalent) with current nursing council registration.
• Experience in clinical nursing within a hospital, clinic, or diagnostic center setting; exposure to multispeciality or day-care procedures is an advantage.
• Strong patient assessment and clinical skills, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and basic life support (BLS); advanced life support (ACLS) is preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records, nursing notes, and documentation in line with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and capacity to provide compassionate, non-judgmental patient care in a busy clinical environment.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by patient care needs.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with electronic health records or clinic management systems is beneficial.
• Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to ethical standards, and participation in training and quality improvement initiatives.
