The setting is fast-paced, detail-oriented, and committed to high production values. Role Description The Assistant Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role supports the lead editors by organizing footage, syncing audio, and preparing project timelines in editing software. The Assistant Video Editor will assist with rough cuts, basic trims, transitions, and assembly edits, as well as help with color adjustments and simple motion graphics under guidance. Responsibilities include managing media files, maintaining project backups,



and ensuring assets are clearly labeled and accessible. The role also involves collaborating with directors, editors, and producers to implement feedback, refine visual storytelling, and meet delivery deadlines for film and brand projects. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Editing and Video Production for assembling footage and supporting end-to-end post-production workflows..
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create basic titles, lower-thirds, and simple visual elements.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing tool DaVinci Resolve and familiarity with file formats and codecs.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to follow creative direction and constructive feedback.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site in Mumbai and adapt to fast-paced production schedules.
• Relevant coursework or a diploma in film, media, or related fields; prior internship or project experience in video editing is an advantage.
