Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Operations role based at Motherhood Hospital in Chennai. The role involves overseeing day-to-day clinical operations, coordinating with medical, nursing, and administrative teams to ensure smooth functioning of women’s and pediatric services. Responsibilities include managing patient flow, supporting adherence to clinical protocols, monitoring quality and safety standards, and facilitating effective use of hospital resources and infrastructure.



The position also includes collaborating with specialists to optimize treatment pathways, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring explicit communication with patients and families regarding care processes. The Medical Operations professional will contribute to operational planning, data-driven decision-making, and regulatory compliance across departments. Qualifications
• Clinical expertise in Medicine and Treatment, with the ability to support and coordinate multi-specialty care.
• Experience or exposure to Cardiology services, including operational support for cardiac diagnostics and interventions.
• Background in Orthopedic Surgery operations, such as theatre coordination and post-operative care pathways.
• Knowledge of Neurology services and workflows, including management of neurological consultations and procedures.
• Medical degree (MBBS) from a recognized institution; postgraduate qualification in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a clinical specialty is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills, with attention to detail and focus on patient safety and quality of care.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Experience in hospital operations, preferably in maternity, women’s health, or pediatric settings, is highly beneficial.
