Role Description The UK Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role focuses on guiding learners interested in studying in the United Kingdom through program selection, application processes, and admission requirements. The UK Counselor will conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, assess academic and career goals, and recommend suitable universities and courses in the UK.

Daily tasks include managing applications, coordinating documentation, assisting with scholarship and financial guidance, and supporting UK student visa procedures. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, liaising with universities and partners, participating in events or seminars, and providing ongoing support to learners and families throughout the enrollment journey.





Qualifications

- Strong counseling, advising, and learner support skills, with the ability to understand academic and career aspirations and provide clear, structured guidance.
- Knowledge of UK higher education systems, universities, courses, admission criteria, and scholarship opportunities, along with familiarity with UK student visa processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including confident spoken and written English, and the ability to present information in a clear, culturally sensitive manner.
- Organizational and administrative skills, including managing multiple applications, maintaining accurate records, meeting deadlines, and using basic office software and CRM tools.
- Client service orientation and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on ethical guidance, attention to detail, and handling complex or time-bound cases calmly.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, management, or related fields is an advantage.
- Prior experience in overseas education counseling, admissions, or student advisory roles, particularly for UK destinations, is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work in office in Hyderabad, collaborate with team members, and occasionally participate in events, workshops, or outreach activities.
