Job Title: Active Directory & Group Policy Engineer

Location: India (Remote)

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Range: 35- 35 Lakhs

Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Active Directory & Group Policy Engineer to lead a global Group Policy cleanup and modernization initiative. The engineer will be responsible for analyzing, optimizing, and remediating Active Directory Group Policies across a global environment while supporting endpoint modernization efforts leveraging Microsoft Intune and modern device management. Responsibilities

- Assess and document enterprise Active Directory Group Policies.
- Identify orphaned, disabled, duplicate, and unused GPOs.
- Perform server and workstation GPO analysis.
- Troubleshoot Group Policy processing issues.
- Optimize GPO structure and inheritance.
- Review GPOs for security, compliance, and performance improvements.
- Support migration of traditional GPO settings to Microsoft Intune with other teams.




- Work with Infrastructure, IAM, Network, and Endpoint teams.
- Develop PowerShell automation for GPO analysis and reporting.
- Create technical documentation and governance standards.
- Support service account and shadow account governance initiatives.
- Participate in endpoint compliance and NAC-related projects.
