Position Overview The Deputy Manager – Accounts & Finance will manage financial accounting, reporting, manufacturing costing, budgeting, treasury and tax compliance for R N Laboratories Pvt Ltd. Based in Andheri, Mumbai, the role will work closely with factory teams, group companies, auditors and banks to ensure accurate and timely financial closure, effective working capital management, robust inventory controls and compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The position will also support management decision-making through financial analysis, forecasting and identification of cost-optimisation opportunities.

- Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements.
- Monitor and analysis manufacturing costs, variances, and production performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct variance analysis, including material, labor, and overhead variances.
- Budgeting & forecasting annual budgeting process for manufacturing operations, including capital expenditure planning.
- Inventory Optimization, Inventory controls over receipts and physical verification.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting and long-term financial planning.
- Validate, approve, review, and manage the collection and payment of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) for both external and internal customers and suppliers.
- Handling inter-company transactions, inter-company settlements,



Reconciliation with group companies.
- Maintain day-to-day accounting at the factory site — vendor invoices, GRN entries, debit/credit notes, and expense booking in SAP/ERP. Monthly reconciliation of goods receipt not invoiced (GR/IR) and vendor advances. Support month-end and year-end ledger closure and trial balance finalisation for factory accounts.
- Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure timely payment to suppliers and vendors and manage credit control
- Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure liquidity. Develop strategies for effective cash flow management

- Implement and maintain robust cost accounting systems and processes.
- Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Monitor and control manufacturing overhead costs, ensuring accurate allocation to products and processes.
- Ensure accurate product costing.
- Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed

- Act as a point of contact for external auditors.
- Coordinate audit activities across all subsidiaries, ensuring timely and complete submission of audit schedules and reports.
- Address audit queries in a timely and effective manner.

- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate records of all cash transactions.
- Set up and process international payments to foreign vendors.
- Issue and manage Letters of Credit (Import/Export)
- Forecast short-term and long-term cash flow and working capital needs.
- Monitor and update export transactions in EDPMS (for exports) and IDPMS (for imports).
- Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders to resolve pendency/remarks.
- Ensure timely closure of entries to avoid FEMA/RBI non-compliance.
- Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and Analyze actual vs projected cash flows and highlight variances.

Taxation and Compliance

- Ensure compliance with local and state tax regulations. Manage the preparation and filing of GST returns and handle tax audits.

- Professional certification: Qualified CA (1st Attempt preferred) /CPA.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of IGAAP, IndAS, US GAAP and cross-border compliance requirements.
- Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel;
- Experience in SAP is a must.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
