Bring-up, development, and debugging of the Audio framework/driver stack across client Android platforms — including Mobile, XR, and Smart Glasses form factors; new feature development; customer issue resolution; compute/memory and power optimization for audio use cases.

Domain-Specific Requirements• Linux Kernel development, ALSA/ASoC driver focus

- Android audio framework experience (AudioFlinger, HAL, Audio Policy Manager)
- Audio use-cases: playback, recording, voice call audio paths, low-latency audio, Bluetooth audio (A2DP/LE Audio)
- Audio codec and DSP integration experience (on-chip audio DSP firmware/offload architectures)
- Echo cancellation, noise suppression, beamforming, and multi-mic array processing
- Power optimization for always-on audio and low-power audio paths

EducationBE / BTech / MTech in CS, ECE, or EE





Core ProgrammingStrong C/C++; working knowledge of Java and Python for framework and tooling work

Platform Fundamentals• Embedded/microprocessor architecture (ARM preferred)

- Linux OS internals and multi-threaded programming
- Strong debugging skills on Linux/RTOS; ARM-platform experience preferred
- Android HAL/Framework layer understanding for the relevant subsystem

ToolingGDB, strace/ftrace, JTAG/Lauterbach Trace32, kernel logging and tracing tools

Process & Soft Skills• Working knowledge of SQA processes

- Strong problem-solving and debugging mindset
- Strong verbal/written communication (customer-facing issue resolution is part of the role)
