Summary:
Independently deliver defined SAP UI5/Fiori development and assessment activities, analyse application and delivery evidence, maintain technical risks and remediation actions, and support stabilisation of challenged SAP delivery workstreams.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance SAPUI5/Fiori applications using JavaScript, XML views, controllers, fragments, models, routing and reusable components.
Build and extend Fiori Elements and freestyle UI5 applications according to defined architecture and SAP Fiori UX principles.
Integrate UI5 applications with OData services and CDS-backed APIs.
Analyse defects, application logs, code and test evidence to identify root causes and technical risks.
Perform debugging, unit testing and performance optimisation.
Conduct defined code and design reviews and document findings with clear supporting evidence.
Maintain assigned RAG items, risks, issues, dependencies and remediation actions.
Support backlog prioritisation, defect triage, testing, releases and production stabilisation.
Collaborate with functional, ABAP/BTP, integration and testing teams to resolve delivery dependencies.
Prepare technical analysis and status material and escalate material issues with evidence.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Must have
Hands-on SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori development experience.
Strong JavaScript and XML development.
UI5 controllers, fragments, models, routing and data binding.
OData consumption and troubleshooting.




Fiori Elements and annotations.
SAP Business Application Studio.
Debugging and UI5 performance troubleshooting.
Git/version control and standard development lifecycle practices.
Valuable to have
CDS views and annotations.
SAP BTP.
SAP S/4HANA.
Fiori Launchpad.
Automated testing and CI/CD.
Clean-core development concepts.

Recovery Experience
Experience contributing to troubled-project stabilisation or application remediation, with the ability to analyse defects and delivery evidence, identify root causes, maintain recovery actions and support closure of priority issues.

AI and Digital Expectations
Use approved AI tools to assist code explanation, defect analysis, unit-test preparation, documentation and knowledge search.
Apply AI-assisted analysis to identify risks, dependencies, inconsistencies and recurring patterns in programme evidence.
Validate all AI-derived recommendations and follow confidentiality, security, bias-awareness, traceability, intellectual-property and organisational requirements.

Leadership and Stakeholder Competencies
Independently own assigned development and assessment activities.
Communicate technical issues and dependencies clearly.
Coordinate effectively with developers, testers and functional teams.
Escalate risks early with evidence and proposed actions.
Support junior developers through technical guidance and code-review feedback.

Desirable Experience
SAP Fiori/UI5 or BTP certification.
S/4HANA implementation or AMS/support exposure.
Agile development environments.
Accessibility and responsive-design experience.
