Responsible for the installation of medical equipments. Rectify and reduce the breakdown time of medical equipments. Co-ordinate with vendors / company for the spare parts and preventive maintenance schedules. Inventory/ Assets management of medical equipment in the hospital.
• Lead the Biomedical Engineering function and ensure efficient management of all medical equipment across the hospital.
• Plan and manage preventive and breakdown maintenance, calibration, and timely servicing of medical equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability and patient safety.
• Manage AMC/CMC, warranty, service contracts and vendor performance.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning and validation in consultation with clinical and user departments.
• Prepare and monitor the Biomedical CAPEX and OPEX budget.




• Ensure compliance with applicable NABH/JCI, AERB and other statutory/regulatory requirements related to biomedical equipment.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory, asset records, service history and maintenance documentation. Preferred candidate profile
• Solid knowledge of medical equipment standards and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with NABH/JCI compliance.
• Proficient in MS Office, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Education UG: B.
